The History of J&W
Just like a lot of great things, Jeeps & Wrenches was formed out of necessity. There was a local Jeep group in Nashville which was mainly just an online forum with a few in-person meet-ups. A small number of people that belonged to this group would meet up from time to time at Hooters in Hermitage.
In the late summer of 2013, a few of these people got together and started talking about forming an actual Jeep club. They discussed a new club, how to get it started, what to call it, and the club logo. They decided to call it Jeeps & Wrenches from the wrenching events they had already been having where they worked on each other’s jeeps. The logo came from one of the founder’s tattoos. These founders wanted a club built on fun, offroading, and a shared love of Jeeps!
The rest as they say… is history!!
Since then, we continue to thrive on the common bond of hitting the trails and enjoying fellowship with like-minded enthusiasts. The club celebrated its 10-year anniversary in September 2023 and we are looking forward to the next 10+ years!
